A National Trust site, which has a beautiful house, garden & beautiful walks / trails available. As it is National trust, dogs are expected to be on lead at all times.
Footpath begins at end of lane, splits in 2 at base of gentle hill- continuing straight leads onto maintained farm track up a hill where optional Beautiful forestry walk can be accessed.
You and your dog will be made very welcome at this homely and traditional pub just off the Harborough Road. Its kerb appeal isn't great, but once inside it's spacious, clean and friendly.

This is a lovely place to visit with the dog. It's set in an early 18th century landscaped garden and there's plenty of lakes, cascades and a grotto to enjoy.
