A long beach that welcomes dogs. The main part of the beach is supposed to be a no go area for dogs in holiday season although when we visited there were lots of families with dogs on there.
Long sandy beaches, dunes, and plenty of space for dogs to enjoy themselves away from the village centre - where there are shops and take-aways for picnics.
A useful walking space in the city, with activities for families and dogwalkers. The woodland, with oaks, walnut and sweet chestnut trees is lovely. Some areas are off-limits to dogs.
Gorgeous stretch of sandy beach. Dogs allowed all year round.
Lovely wide open dog-friendly and sandy beach. Few facilities at Sutton on Sea, toilets, fish and chips etc
A large country park just outside Derby City, with over 200 acres of open space and a lake. The Hall that these grounds once surrounded is long gone, but the feeling of gentle parkland remains.
There are no restrictions for dogs on either of these beaches (all year round). Chapel 6 marshes is situated on the coast road just before Anderby Creek (Lincs) and Moggs Eye just after Anderby.
We love to see life returning to old pubs, and the lively team here have achieved miracles in just a few years.
An interesting spot to walk a desperate dog, in an immaculately kept village with mainly thatched cottages nesteld around the skirts of the Hall. It's a rare glimpse of the England of nostalgia.
Interesting combination of a fantastically long sandy beach, the coast path and also a nature reserve where reed beds have been made from earlier gravel pits.
Generously sized dog walk in an elegant deer park in the heart of the city.
