A55 dog-friendly beach and walk near Conwy, Clwyd, Wales
Dogs are welcome on the beach here, with one marked section that's 'on-lead' only. The rest is open for doggy fun time. The castle is worth an explore too - well ruined, but atmospheric.

Tiny sandy beach, tucked away amongst the fishing boats. The Cleveland Way goes through here, and a very nice coast path it is too. No dog restrictions.
Dogs welcome on this beach all year round. There are a couple of fish and chip shops right by the car park (neither open all day).
Bembridge has the sea on three sides of the town, and dogs are allowed on all the beaches, all through the year. Each beach is different, so you'll find sandy bits, pebbles and rock.
Remote and no restrictions on dogs
Large, popular beach with pebbles and some sand. Dogs are OK on a designated part of the eastern side of the beach (by the cliffs).
Instow beach is great for walking with your dog very friendly and close to coffee shops and pubs.
Another simply enormous beach with long walks in either direction. This one is best at low tide when dogs can run by the water line, and well away from the nesting plovers higher up.
Stunningly pretty and popular cove, with the coast path to let dogs flap their ears in the sea breezes.
A country park on the fringe of the New Forest. It's great for dogs and has got beaches, cliffs, D-Day remains, great views of the Isle of Wight and meadows of wild flowers.
Bit of an exciting break off the A39, and great if you need some space. It's quite a fairly remote sand and shingle beach with no dog restrictions all year.
This is a fabulous doggie beach with a lovely cafe and a relaxed and friendly feel to it.
