Very pleasant local woodland walk, with some really loud woodpeckers to keep you company. No facilities, and not worth a detour from the motorway, but handy if you are already nearby.
This is a good lunchtime stop, with a short stroll around the village for the dog and a really friendly family-run pub with light bites or pub classics on the menu. The pub is dog-friendly too.
Popular dog walking forest, with a view over to the White Horse cut into the chalk down. The best view is from the far end of the car park.
Dog Walk and activity with historical interest all in one package

Dog-friendly inn with a bar/restaurant and dog-friendly rooms. Dog walks from the door and plenty to see in this historic village.
