Fantastically well-placed dog-friendly pub inside a country park. All boxes ticked for canine content and a chance to satisfy the most demanding passengers too.
An easy to manage walk with dogs, very close to the M6 exit.
Close to both the A303 and the A34 we stumbled on this dog walk and dog-friendly inn while trying to find a dogwalk at the Sutton Scotney services on the A34.
The riverside path here is some 2.5m wide with plenty of dog romping space and an abundance of wildlife. This is probably as close as it gets to Wind in the Willows land, a magical walk.
Lovely village to take a driving break, with a choice of dog-friendly refreshments from either a quirky cafe or the village pub. And a farm shop too.
Dogs will relish the freedom of this woodland, which dates way back to early times. And afterwards, there's a lovely atmosphere at the dog-friendly village pub. Ticks all the boxes!
The pub is deceptive - bigger inside than you'd think from the car park, and it's strong on food too. The walk is an easy one to find, and dogs get a good off-lead run.
A friendly, welcoming pub next to a fabulous ancient forest where dogs can go nuts in the trees.
This village dog walk has the advantage of being completely stile and livestock-free.
Good combo of dog walk and welcoming dog-friendly pub. The bar has a haunted fireplace so after a scamper over the fields, your dog may get the chance to growl at some spooks.
A towpath walk along the pretty and well-tended canalside.
