An easy 4 mile dog walk, starting from the very atmospheric ruins of Kenilworth Castle.
Coarse sand beach, 2 miles south of Sutton-on-sea. Concrete parking terrace facing sea next to beach. Dog access all year.
A small beach that welcomes dogs. The main part of the beach is supposed to be a no go area for dogs in holiday season although when we visited there were lots of families with dogs on there.
A pair of adjoining parks, both with Green Flag status and very popular with Solihull dog walkers. There is a small cafe, and it's also possible to walk from here to the town centre.
Forestry Commission woodland where you least expect to find it. Great for dogs, and Jem loves coming here.
After the rocks, 3 miles of beautiful sand. Zones for dog access in summer and these are well-signed.
A popular Green Flag park, created over a former colliery. It's clear that this is a much loved park, there's a really friendly atmosphere and happy looking dog walkers.

Lovely easy walk on gravelled paths around a very large country park. Lots of access to the River Lostock running through which the dog loved.
This is a former deer park with 2,400 acres of open space - including 7 lakes. The terrain is a mix of heathland, woodlands, wetlands and marshes.
Long, clean beach, flat, dunes, perfect for dogs and owners. Dogs allowed off-lead. On the other side of the sand dunes is a lake and a path back to the car park.
