This is a lovely forest walk about 1 1/2 miles long through varied terrain with magnificent views in parts.

You'll find several sandy beaches just down from the Seaboard Centre and these are dog-friendly. When we were here there was no-one in sight, in mid-summer.
The dog walk here is a real hidden gem. And the geological features are interesting for curious people too. Not too far from the A9 heading north and well worth an explore.
