Dollar Cove dog-friendly beach, Cornwall
Remote and no restrictions on dogs
Remote and no restrictions on dogs
Acres of woodland, with a choice of four marked trails. Just the job for dogs who've got bored of sandy paws. On hot days these shaded paths are just what a dog needs.
A perfect amble around historical landmarks. Hurlers three stone circles are set in a wide expanse of open moor. Together with Stowes Hill and Long Tom, this makes a decent dog walk on the flat.
A woodland with several walks - some harder paths, some more rugged paths through the woodlands where more clambering is required.
Dogs are welcome on the East part of the beach, although dog owners definitely get that 'second class citizen' feeling here.
Sandy beach with loads of dog walking space. Dogs are allowed all year, with an on-lead rule in high summer.
No restrictions on dogs on the sandy beach here.
Sandy bay surrounded by cliffs. It does get busy here in summer - dogs allowed on the beach.
An all year round dog-friendly beach, with facilities.
Dogs are OK on the large sandy beach here, but definitely best when the tide's out. Note from Fizz and Lottie: rocky entrance with river pouring onto sandy beach with rock pools.
Remote and slightly spooky dog walk next to the satellite tracking dishes.
Dogs are allowed on the beach at low tide. At high tide the beach is entirely covered in water.
