Bembridge has the sea on three sides of the town, and dogs are allowed on all the beaches, all through the year. Each beach is different, so you'll find sandy bits, pebbles and rock.
Legend has it that The Folly was founded by the crew of a French smuggling barge that ran aground in the 1700's selling illegal alcohol.

Really lovely little dining pub with an attractive garden for warm days, and easy access to some great walks. You may find a traditional blacksmith at work by the car park on Sundays.
