A popular family and dog attraction in the heart of North Lincolnshire. The grounds of this stately house are open all year round from 0900 until dusk.
Intimate woodland that makes a lovely doggiestop off the A42, or the A511 too. The atmosphere is light and airy, and it's a great place to enjoy a quiet moment with the pooch.
Lots of different paths to choose the perfect dog walk here. There's even a 'Wildwood' trail made by kids for kids.
Quite a handy pitstop on the A470.
Well-behaved dogs welcome. Beach very popular in summer.
Developing country park, with a really good adventure playground for kids and a popular walking spot for local dogs. Downside is the lack of WCs.
Dog-friendly beachside bar and cafe right on the seafront and perfect for a dog walk on the beach.
Well-hidden rural pub that made Jem happy from the start with a barrell of dog water at the entrance.
Babbs Mill park lies on the Cole Valley, and includes a lake (much loved by Canada geese) and a good space for a 30-40 minute dog walk.

A short but satisfying woodland walk in a fantastic landscape to the site of a hill fort. Don't expect castle ruins, it's an earthworks from an early tribe.
