A quiet and restful walk along the side of the River Lostock in a less-visited section of this vast country park. You can get here easily from the M6 too.
Phoenix Park is a popular local dog walk, over what used to be the Hickleton Colliery. There are now sculptures and installations as a reminder of its history and a network of paths around the park.
