A wide, long sandy beach which is ideal for dogs to let off steam. There is a dog-friendly bar a short walk away.
A slightly odd mix of old lime kilns and a modern power station here. But dogs will adore the space at low tide and the parking is easy. It's really close to the A1 and easy to find.
Accessed from a small car park and down around 100 steep stone steps the beach is not accessible to all. However it is a mixed shingle and sand beach in a lovely bay and is dog friendly all year.
Park by the side of the road at the end of Zinc Works Road and walk along the track through the dunes to the large dog friendly beach which is tidal. Dogs are welcome all year round.
An easy, occasionally bracing, walk to a lighthouse reached over a tidal causeway. It's a popular tourist attraction, as are the seals who live here.
Fun walk across the iconic bridge and into woodland. Unlike most walks in the area this one is completely hill-free!
A really big stretch of beach and such an amazing walk! Parking is near a holiday resort but fully accessible by people not holidaying.
