Fetteresso Forest dog walk, Scotland
A great place to walk, especially when the serried firs give way to open moorland.

Beach accessed down steep pathway from parking on Wear Bay Road near Folkestone harbour. Its sandy at low tide and can be walked at high tide using the concrete walkway below the cliffs.
A welcome dog walking forest on an island that's not keen on sharing its beaches with visitors with dogs. Please be super-careful to pick up dog mess, and dispose of it in a bin.
Polperro is a pretty little town with a big carpark at the top. The carpark is 750m walk from the harbour. The walk takes you through the town which is not car friendly, but very dog friendly .
There's plenty of space here for a good long dog walk, either on the signed trails or just rambling around the 200 hectares of the park.
Beautiful sandy expanse with lots of room for kids and dogs. Dogs welcome all year round. Parking is easiest in the signed beach car park, as there's limited space in the village.
A great place for a dog walk, and an intriguing open air industrial heritage experience for anyone vaguely interested in the past.
Vast beach and excellent for dogs and football/cricket players. On the afternoon we took the photos here at the start of the school holidays (August) there was one other car on the beach.
Forest paths stretching for miles and miles over the hills. It's ideal for dogs, with no stiles or sheep to worry about. Even in the rain you stay fairly sheltered here.
This dog walk is close to Junction 7 and 8 of the M20. Stop here for a good length circular dog-walk, and an excellent and dog-welcoming inn with B&B to return to.
Haywood Oaks and Blidworth Bottoms are a fave destination for lots of Notts doggies. There's plenty of romping space, and a friendly chatting space for post-walkies coffee and cake.
A short with the dog to see the site of the castle where Mary Queen of Scots lost her head. It seems a forlorn grassy lump these days but the castle was significant some 400 years ago.
