A leisurely stroll beside a river along a flat path. There is some street walking but as Lostwithiel is a lovely village, this is not a hardship.
Predominately a flat, wide trail beside the river. Suitable for pushchairs and mobility scooters etc. if keep to the Pentewan Valley Trail route.
A pretty and popular village with a dog-friendly pebble beach that is a definite part of the community that surrounds it.
Country park with marked trails, and handily placed if you're heading north from the M4.
The doggy section of the beach is towards the 'nose' of the bay (Penrhyn Hill), and marked. Note that there is a complete dog ban on the West beach in Llandudno.
Lovely walk plenty of water to play and drink for dogs. Plenty of off lead walking and some on lead.
A forest dog walk a short drive from Lyme Regis and quite close to the A35 for a cooling stroll with the dog.
Larger than it seems to be at first, this is one of Jem's favourites. There's woodland, a stream, a big play area for children - and lots of space.
Thurlestone Beach is owned by the National Trust (along with South Milton beach) and it's a recognised Area of Outstanding Beauty. Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round.
Secluded little dog friendly bay that's a gorgeous half way point on walks from various points nearby. Stick to the east side of the bay for swimming and avoid the strong currents on the west side.
About 5 miles north of Dunvegan. Follow a farm track down to the beach (about 25 mins, look out for sheep and cows), which is an amazing white colour that makes the sea look turquoise.
