No restrictions on dogs on the sandy beach here.
Dogs are welcome on the East part of the beach, although dog owners definitely get that 'second class citizen' feeling here.
A stunning walk along the banks of the river Fowey as well as in woodland. Good for walking dogs and children, although not suitable for a pram.
A woodland with several walks - some harder paths, some more rugged paths through the woodlands where more clambering is required.
A perfect amble around historical landmarks. Hurlers three stone circles are set in a wide expanse of open moor. Together with Stowes Hill and Long Tom, this makes a decent dog walk on the flat.
Acres of woodland, with a choice of four marked trails. Just the job for dogs who've got bored of sandy paws. On hot days these shaded paths are just what a dog needs.
Remote and no restrictions on dogs
Dogs allowed on the beach all year round. Check the tide tables before you go as there's no beach at high tide.
Predominately a flat, wide trail beside the river. Suitable for pushchairs and mobility scooters etc. if keep to the Pentewan Valley Trail route.
A walk on a fairly level path along the riverside from Tresillian to St Clement and back
This walk is 0.9 mile, mainly flat terrain. The Royal Inn has plenty of outside eating benches with gazebo covering. Currently open for business from noon each day.
An all year round dog-friendly beach, with facilities.
