Lovely flat walk along a wide, leafy National Trust woodland trail to the Wellington Monument. Great views and perfect for an off lead walk in all weather.
Length of walk: 40 minutes for the Purple trail. This ancient forest is managed by the National Trust, and is famous for its butterflies in July and August.
There's a choice of two water walks in this sleepy village, both quiet and tranquil. There are a couple of small shops in the village for picnic supplies, and the Bell is dog-friendly in the bar.
Absolutely the best place to get a panoramic view of 'Shakespeare' country, and lots of space for dogs to run, roll and sniff.
Paths are well maintained here and provide easy dog walking around this fully accessible route. This is brilliant for kids, with a large play area, and the woods are perfect for dogs.
