Feudal village and Estate dog walk, Derbyshire
An interesting spot to walk a desperate dog, in an immaculately kept village with mainly thatched cottages nesteld around the skirts of the Hall. It's a rare glimpse of the England of nostalgia.

We love to see life returning to old pubs, and the lively team here have achieved miracles in just a few years.
Just a minute away from the roar of the A50 you'll find this unspoiled oasis of calm. Dogs get a fine off-lead leg-stretch. Sadly the very fine pub in the village has now closed.
Purpose built park, very well laid out, ideal for all types of walkers across rolling fields and woodland areas.
Good dog walks in a country park that's part of Cannock Chase.
This is a magnificent walk over the lower reach of Cannock Chase. The land is criss-crossed with paths and the heathland means it is easy to navigate this large expanse of open space.
Even though this is very much an on-lead experience for dogs, the curators of this extraordinary Elizabethan Hall have made every possible arrangement for canine comfort. Marvellous tea room!
Easy to find dog-friendly pub - and the walk starts directly from the car park. Perfect!
Off A38 at Branston 1 miles south of Burton upon Trent. Approx 2 miles flat tarmac surface around a lovely lake full of different types of wild fowl.
It took us ages to find this wood, mainly because of road closures and repairs.
An easy-going walk with the chance of refreshments in an outdoor cafe along the way.
Still privately owned by the family who built the first castle here, what you see now is a sort of 'ruins through the ages' surrounded by a sea of cow parsley. Perfect for a picnic on a sunny day.
