Tebay services A lovely stopping place while travelling north. A green walk with dogs. There is a slip road to the southbound services too.
Country park dog walk near Corby, Northamptonshire Another of Northamptonshire's near perfect parks, with plenty of space for doggy dashing as well as picnic and BBQ areas for a full day out.
Beoch to Leffnol point dog walk, Scotland Part of the Loch Ryan Coastal path. Park car down small lane off A77 and head north towards Cairnryan. Trail follows stoney beach following the path of the old railway line and wagon yard.
M1 Junction 37 dog walk and refreshments, near Barnsley, South Yorkshire Junction 37 This is a large expanse of parkland, over 70 acres, and clearly a favourite with local dogwalkers from the Barnsley area.
M9 Junction 4 Muiravonside dog walk, Scotland Junction 4 A choice of fabulously rural dog walks here, with a cafe and roomy picnic spot at the start point. There's even a farm where kids are welcome to explore.
