Large, popular beach with pebbles and some sand. Dogs are OK on a designated part of the eastern side of the beach (by the cliffs).
Ramblers association footpath going through beautiful new forest woodland leading down to Symonds Yat.

Instow beach is great for walking with your dog very friendly and close to coffee shops and pubs.
A short, flat walk along the canal, stopping off at Halberton Farm shop for fab treats and coffee, or even PYO!
A lovely stopping place while travelling north. A green walk with dogs. There is a slip road to the southbound services too.
Another of Northamptonshire's near perfect parks, with plenty of space for doggy dashing as well as picnic and BBQ areas for a full day out.
Part of the Loch Ryan Coastal path. Park car down small lane off A77 and head north towards Cairnryan. Trail follows stoney beach following the path of the old railway line and wagon yard.
This is a large expanse of parkland, over 70 acres, and clearly a favourite with local dogwalkers from the Barnsley area.
