A5 north of Coventry dog-friendly pub and dog walk, Warwickshire
Marvellous dog-friendly pub and well worth making a detour for. Jem loves it here because they have carpet, and he can get really comfortable for a snooze.

This is a lovely pub for enjoying the view over the village green and duck pond on a warm Sunday afternoon.
Upmarket and dog-friendly establishment with an amazing terrace hanging over the river. The mill wheel still turns - not for grinding corn anymore though.
One of those perfect places to get the dog and driver out of the car and off on an easy walk with a cup of tea and cake afterwards. Open in Summer only.
A handy stop for a summer evening if you need a break from the A5. Dogs are welcome in the traditional thatched Freehouse and the walk is a section of a long-distance footpath across fields.
For a break from the busy A5, this is a handy choice for you and the dog. The pub is dog-friendly, and the village itself is well worth an explore.
An ancient country estate with a very modern approach. There's loads going on and you could easily spend the weekend here! But it's a great place for a break off the A5 and dogs on leads are welcome.
A traditional dog-friendly Inn just off the historic A5 coaching route, a few miles from Betws-y-Coed on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.
Small canal-side pub that is right on the A5 (Watling Street).
An atmospheric walk in the footsteps of the outlaw 'Wild Humphrey Kynaston' - sometimes, and rather oddly, called the 'Shropshire Robin Hood'.
A great place to take a break, with a really easy to find dog walk from the pub garden as well as a good sized children's outdoor play area and a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere inside.
This is a popular pub with the food much praised by locals. The garden is exquisitely looked after, and the dog walk starts just opposite the car park.
