We're not usually fans of stately homes, but this is in a dog-friendly league of its own and every effort has been made to ensure the comfort of visitors.

This is a dog walk for the early-birds as the pub serves a good value breakfast with waffles from 9am.
There are shops, dog-friendly pubs and cafes here, and it's a good stopping point on the A65 with much easier parking and access to the walks than Skipton, which is just 4 miles away.
