Tiny and popular dog-friendly pub that's a regular CAMRA regional winner. It's a part of the Enville Estate so the surroundings are quite grand while the pub is scruffy-chic.
A wonderful dog-friendly cafe and we were so grateful to take refuge here in a savage summer downpour. The walk was lovely too until the great soaking.
Popular country inn with a large car park and pleasant atmosphere. Good for a driving break, and although there isn't an off-lead dog walk smaller pooches will be happy with a trot around the village.
Less than 2 miles from the M26 as the crow flies, but light years away in reality. This pretty village and dog walk in the Low Weald feels like the deep countryside, and is a treat to find.

This walk is 0.9 mile, mainly flat terrain. The Royal Inn has plenty of outside eating benches with gazebo covering. Currently open for business from noon each day.
